INVITATION TO BID: Town of Kersey, CO is seeking bids for Centennial Trail. A NON-MANDATORY PRE-BID CONFERENCE WILL BE HELD ON TUESDAY, JANUARY 19, 2021 BEGINNING AT 9:00 AM. THE PRE-BID CONFERENCE WILL BE HELD VIA ONLINE MEETING WITH THE MEETING INFORMATION SENT OUT TO INTERESTED PARTIES AT A LATER DATE. Questions in regard to the project can be submitted via email to until 4:00 pm January 20, 2021. Sealed bids will be accepted until 3:00 pm on Tuesday, January 26th, 2021.

The Centennial Trail Project includes several bid alternatives, but will consist of the grading and construction of 1,200 to 4,750 linear feet of sidewalk, adjustment of 450 linear feet of Latham Street, the construction of 225 linear feet of 9th Street including a railroad crossing and the installation of an approximately 13,000 lb pedestrian bridge along with all associated improvements.  The bridge is already on-site for installation.  Work is anticipated to begin February 15, 2021 with substantial completion for the base bid by April 30, 2020. All work adjacent to and crossing Latham Ditch must be completed by March 15, 2021.

All bids conforming to the bid requirements listed in the bid packet and received by 3:00 pm on January 26th will be publicly opened and read aloud. A bid bond in the amount of five percent (5%) of the total bid is required with each bid. The bid will be awarded to the lowest responsible and responsive bidder. Documents that will be provided by the lowest responsible bidder by 4:30 pm on January 28th, 2021 are the following: CDOT Form 605-Contractors Performance Capability Statement, CDOT Form 621-Assignment of Anti-Trust Claims, CDOT Form 1415-Commitment Confirmation (For each DBE listed in Form 1414, and CDOT Form 1416-Good Faith Effort Report (If the DBE goal has not been met).
