In 2019, Resolution 2019-0010 was passed by the Kersey Board of Trustees adopting a meeting start time of 6:00 pm for all regular Town Board meetings. The Town board extended to the Kersey Planning Commission to also begin their meetings at 6:00 pm. The Planning Commission accepted the new meeting time and now meets the first Tuesday of each month at 6:00 pm unless otherwise posted.

In 2023, the Town Board voted to reduce the number of members to six members of the public including one Town Board member who serves as a voting liaison.
