Water
The Town operates a water enterprise fund meaning the Town provides water services and bills accordingly. The Town purchases water from Central Weld Water District and distributes it to the citizens through a gravity system utilizing the water tank located on the south side of town in Water Tower Park. Kersey's water distribution system is able to serve hundreds of customers however as growth continues to occur, water service lines are constantly being evaluated for capacity. Additionally, many of the water service lines are aging and in need of repair/replacement. The Town is committed to providing the best possible water delivery system and is working to identify future needs. Maintenance to the Town's water tower, hydrants, delivery lines, and staffing all account for some of the Town uses for water related revenues in addition to purchasing water through Central Weld.
Rates:
A base fee of $23.84 is charged to all properties with a tap. Beginning in 2018, the Town adopted a tiered water rate schedule effective January 1, 2018 per 1000 gallons.
Residential:
0-16000 gallons $2.95
16001-22500 gallons $4.43
22501 and over $6.65
Commercial:
Flat rate of $3.69/1000 gallons
Bulk Water rates are per the current fee schedule.

Wastewater
A base fee of $31.44 is charged to anyone who has a tap. An additional $4.14 is charged per 1000 gallons of water used based on the average of water used during the winter months of December, January, and February.
Kersey has a modern Sequential Batch Reactor Wastewater plant that was built in 2007. This state of the art facility is at less than half capacity and was built to sustain significant future growth.
Billing
The Town sends out utility bills on the 21st of each month. Payments can be mailed, dropped off in the east parking lot drop box, or delivered to:
