About the Community Center
The Kersey Community Center is located at the previous site of the Kersey Grange building, and has served as a community gathering spot for decades. Through donors and grants, the Town constructed a beautiful new facility that houses our older adult programming, fitness classes, community classes/events, individual and group rentals, classroom and presentation options, and banquet-style events.
Our Mission
The Kersey Community Center serves as a community focal point where people can come for a wide range of services and activities.
Our purpose is to provide a place for our community to congregate, socialize, access services and information, participate in activities, and volunteer.
Adult Fitness Class Information
Fitness classes ARE BACK at the Kersey Community Center starting with our POUND Fitness class! For more information and to register, check out our Fitness Classes page.
Rentals
The Kersey Community Center is available for rental options, including but not limited to; baby showers, receptions, graduation and birthday parties, corporate events and a variety of other uses. Meet Melissa Campbell our new Community Experience Specialist! Melissa will be over at the Community Center coordinating our older adult programs, community events and rentals.
Melissa was born and raised in a small town in Texas where she grew up on the family crop-dusting airport. They moved to Colorado from Navarre Florida 12 years ago and has been a part of the Kersey community for 10 years. She has three children, Maveric 16 and Malcom 14 who attend PVHS and McKenzie, who is 8, and in second grade at Platte Valley. In her spare time she enjoys sitting on the sidelines for her children's sporting events, camping, riding ATVs, prospecting, fishing, river walks with my pups, and spending time with her husband.
She has over 10 years experience in the healthcare field and has worked as a RMA, CNA, wound care nurse, and skilled home care for disabled and elderly. Melissa attended trade school at Everest college, received her associate from AIMS community college, and is currently completing her bachelor’s degree in science and healthcare administration at Colorado State University-Global.
Melissa loves our community and is excited for this adventure here at the Town of Kersey!
