Meetings:
Regular Meetings are held the second Tuesday of each month starting at 6pm. The Town Board often hears resolutions, ordinances or other action items at regular meetings in which votes are cast. The public is invited and during portions of public hearings, may address the board.
Work Sessions are held the fourth Tuesday of each month starting at 6pm. Work sessions are intended to provide direction to the Town Manager on a variety of topics and may include presentations or other information from staff or consultants. There are no votes cast during work sessions. The public is invited, but typically not called upon for input.
Special Meetings may be called with proper notice. Special meetings are often voting meetings involving a limited agenda and are only held when action items need to be heard by the board prior to the next scheduled regular meeting. Special meetings are open to the public.
Executive Sessions may be called for and voted to begin by the Town Board in situations involving specific legal advice, negotiations, personnel issues of a sensitive nature, or other reasons allowable by law. During executive sessions, only information pertaining to these topics is allowed to be discussed. Executive sessions are not open to the public.
Agendas & Minutes:
Agendas are available and posted at Town Hall and the Kersey Post Office the Friday before the meeting. Minutes are available following approval.
